Our instructors teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe, tumble, and dance theatre, with additional performance opportunities throughout the year.

Early Childhood Dance

Ages 6–18
School-Age and Teen Classes
Opportunities to train in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tumble, and dance theatre for beginner to experienced students.

Ballet and Pointe
Build classical technique, alignment, balance, strength, and artistry. Pointe placement requires instructor approval.
Tap
Develop rhythm, musicality, coordination, and clear footwork through age-appropriate instruction.
Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary
Explore expressive movement, performance quality, flexibility, and choreography built on strong dance foundations.
Hip Hop
Learn high-energy movement, musicality, style, and choreography in an engaging class environment.
Tumble
Develop strength, flexibility, body awareness, and specialty movement skills with appropriate instruction and progression.
Theatre and Performing Arts
Explore performance through dance theatre and opportunities to develop stage presence and performance skills. Singing instruction is not offered through Lisa Allen’s Dance Works. Additional performing arts and singing opportunities are available through Saltwater Performing Arts.

The Dazzler Competition Team gives committed dancers the opportunity to strengthen their technique, work as a team, and represent Lisa Allen's Dance Works at competitions, performances, and community events. Team members continue their studio training while developing stage presence and confidence through additional performance experience.
